HOUSTON PANHELLENIC
Our Mission
The University Panhellenic Council at the University of Houston governs six sororities
affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference. Our mission is to foster an inclusive Greek
community dedicated to empowering women through scholarship, service, and sisterhood.

Panhellenic is for everyone, and we are committed to creating a welcoming space where all women feel valued and included. We celebrate diversity, encourage open dialogue, and foster an environment where every member, regardless of background or chapter affiliation, has a place to call home. Our community thrives on respect, acceptance, and the belief that sisterhood is stronger when everyone has a seat at the table.
Leadership and Growth
Panhellenic empowers women to become confident leaders, equipping them with the skills and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. Through leadership roles, mentorship, and hands-on experiences, members gain confidence in their abilities and develop the resilience needed to succeed beyond college. We believe in lifting each other up, encouraging women to step into leadership with courage and purpose.

Academic excellence is a cornerstone of Panhellenic life. We support and encourage members to prioritize their education, strive for success, and utilize the resources available to them. Through academic programming, mentorship, and chapter support, we foster a culture where women can balance their commitments while excelling in their studies. We believe in celebrating achievements, big and small, and pushing each other to reach our full potential.

Service is at the heart of Panhellenic, uniting our community in a shared commitment to making a difference.
